Nikki and Josh – A complete paper story

This year I had the wonderful opportinity to work with Pam Barefoot from A Trendy Wedding, on the entire stationery package for her client’s, Nikki and Josh. Nikki and Josh’s wedding was kind of quirky and playful, kind of vintage and farmer’s market, a bit rustic and a bit whimsical. They used a lot of vintage finds for both outdoor and indoor areas. Of course, their stationery had to reflect the same sensibility, so here is what we created.

The complete set. Save the dates, invitations, programs, menus, signage and place cards.

Yes, we printed their invitation on wood veneer!

I just love how there are so many different design elements in the complete set, but they all come together so beautifully! This is exactly what I love to do–design everything from the very first piece to the last. A complete experience!

Destination Wedding Paperie Three

Next up, a gorgeous beach wedding in Carillon Beach, Florida. We worked with Sarah and Ryan on their save the dates, invitations and programs. Their set is a fabulous example of capturing the relaxed, layed-back feel of a beach wedding without showing shells, palm trees and boats! We were inspired by patterns and designs depicted in beachware, such as paisleys, batik prints and organic shapes.

Also, have a look at some photos from their wedding at Southern Weddings Magazine.

Destination Wedding Paperie Two

Curtis and Marlene got married in Puerto Morelos, Mexico at the beautiful El Dorado Resort and Spa. Curtis is an architect, and was in search of a design that is tropically modern, and depicted in a silhouette-pattern style. Their color palette was so lovely to work with as well – plum, lavender, white and citron green! We incorporated the colors with the various paper selections, and printed all materials in the plum ink for a deep contrast. The invitation itself is oversized and printed on super thick cotton paper. The overall feel of the set is so organic, breezy, happy and reminds me of the islands 🙂
